Question for those that have had the eaton apart(PICS)

Hey, im in the process of porting the blower INLET and changing the coupler (keep this on topic, ive done porting research)

I have only drained about 100 ML out of the blower and i need to know the capacity, i had heard 150 ML is on the money but seems like not enough was in mine

can anyone confirm

heres some pics, im doing inlet port, filled silencers, ported LS4 TB and spacer, painting it black(blower housing), and new oil and coupler, also i buffed and polised what i could get to on the intake mani already

I have taken more pics and will update as i go, but could somebody confirm 100ML is spot on?

All you have to do is put it back on the car and open the little port on the side and fill it until fluid runs out. Similar to changing "Rear-end" fluid. Theres a how-to on changing the SC oil.

as an engineer myself i want a specific fluid amount.

6.5 FL OZ seems like a ton considering 3.5 came out

LS4? why not change my idle scaler and adjust PE?

Please give me more feedback?"

whoa not hating man but u see my rationality on this...

ive heard it becomes touchy but it has been done by others right? I know lsjwannabe and fast98 have it but wasnt sure if the eaton vs. the harrop was the key factor on the drivability

also the triangle pics BILLBT threw up here shows some porting to elongate it, i know that too much is a bad thing but do you think i should even touch it?

laptop is next to me in the garage so ill be online throughout the whole process

Come on guys lets walk through this together

yes others have it..it seems to benefit turbo'd cars better, but i had a tvs and it was too touchy, not to say anything about them because they are friends of mine but i talked to josh (fast 98) ive talked to area47/witt and so on about tuning this thing and no one has had the best of luck with it...of course u can learn to deal with it but for daily driving its unreliable period. unless u wanna look like u just learned how to drive a stick while ur in second gear lol

its to my understanding that it took 6 oz to fill most up but some take 8..i guess it would depend on how hard u pushed it and how much the seals ate up. ive never changed them on a m62

I think if only 3.5 came out than only 3.5 should go in.

in the supercharger it eats up the oil pretty bad...i would find a legit place to get the recommended specs on how much needs to go in

honestly ur not gonna feel huge differences...in the under part of the supercharger to open that more is a better port IMO but that can get tricky..

but if u run the ls4 tb u will need to open up the spacer some to accommodate for the bigger tb blade

I do have the fix for the ls4 tb, I never gave it to you raven because your car blew up before I had a chance.
