tire size qustion

i want to get some new wheels and tires. and i want to go VERY low on the profile. i'll also be purchasing sportlines along with the wheels/tires. so i want to know if these would rub or not.

19" wheels on 215/35R19 KDW 2's <--$131/each
20" wheels on 215/30R20 KDW 2's <--$147/each

so, any rubbage with sportlines??

to understand tire size is to look at the numbers...215 is the width of the tire, 35 is a percentage of the 215 that creates the sidewall. and then the 19 is the rims size. so the bigger the rim doesnt matter if ur rim width is staying the same (inless u get 24s then u have a height problem) but IMO 215 30 or 35 is going to make ur tire look really tiny. i had 225 35 20's dropped on ssc springs and had no rubbing with me my wife and 2 kids in the car

Cool. Well my car is my daily driver so I wanted it low, but not slammed. I've had slammed cars in the past, and they just weren't practical. I've put 47k on my car so far, so im very happy with my decision to go Sportlines. Take it from me too.....the car appears much lower in person. Thats a very low resolution camera, so your only seeing the shiney parts of the tires, but the tires actually fill in the gap a little more, but the non shiney part where it curves in that the tire shine dosent hit blends in with my fender wells.

Bags might ride nice (maybe?) but they're waaayy expensive, heavy, take up alot of trunk space, and you can't even take your car to the track anymore after you bag it, b/c I know 99% of tracks don't let cars with bags race. So if you wanna be slammed and still be able to use your trunk and race the car, I say go coilovers.

Maybe its just a communist ass b/s VA law. But airbag suspension use at the track out here is strictly prohibited. But hey, if they are legal to use at the track in other states, more power to ya. Still stand by my taking up alot of trunk space and being heavy argument though.

its really not that bad on weight i mean if u take out the stock speaker it will even out haha...plus it takes like what 130lbs to effect a tenth of a second...its a dd for me..stuff like that and a short shifter will never make a huge difference in my life because i wont be in those races where a short shifter saved me haha...but u win on the trunk space
