How many of you...?

Find yourself forgetting to shift into 5th sometimes?

I was coming home from work tonight and started up the Cove (8 miles or so of windy roads) And when I was turning onto my road and went to down-shift, I found that I was in 4th the whole way up through the cove. The speed limit is posted 55mph, but most people do 60 and get away with doing 65 late at night. The car didn't feel different to me. I just find it crazy I went that long without knowing I was in 4th.

Anyone else have this happen any?

no not really haha. if i'm going for a long distance at 70mph+ i'll have it in 5th, but i take about a 15mile stretch of the highway to work, it's 70mph limit, so i have it in 4th at 3500 all the way there, i somehow actually get better mpg with it in 4th at 70 than 5th at 70

x2, I have realized that the Cobalt really doesnt like high gears unless you're really moving. Sometimes when I'm going 50-55, I'll put it in 5th, but mostly it stays in 4th.
