Halo Projection Headlamps...
Halo Projection Headlamps...
Hey All,
I need big help. I just purchased and received these Twin Halo's....

I need help. I understand the LED's to the parking light. But the wiring harness for the Cobalt does not match the Purchased Halos. Nor does the parking light which is grouped with the Cobalt's parking light. So how do you wire them up?
Also, my father, a GM Vet of 35+ years was confused. He did 'Small Repair' for 15 years living under a dashboard for GM in Oshawa. God Bless Him. The next day, my father called OMSales Head Tech Guy and he told my father, 'DO NOT INSTALL THEM' They may have different Amps etc and may damage the cars computer. I've seen hundreds of Cobalts with Halo's and not one negative reply. I may never take my car to these guys again. I don't want to hear NO, I want to hear, "How do we do this?".
Has anyone heard anything negative about installing Twin Halo Projection Headlights in Cobalt?
You're help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

I just installed a set a couple days ago and there are a tonne of people on here with them. They aren't going to hurt your car. They should be just plug and play. Mine aren't quite the same as yours, but all I had to do was unplug the main harness from the car to the headlights and plug it into the harness on the new headlights. Post up a pic of the connectors that your having trouble with.
First off nice purchase. Second, check the "HOW TO" section. I believe there is a guide in there that will help.
I ended up getting the Gen 2s because I didnt want to mess with the wiring. Gen 2 is just plug and play. You have Gen 3, which wire the same as Gen 1, I believe. So if you find a guide for Gen 1, dont worry, they wire up the same.
