i dont have any pics of the 2.0 cover, i honestly havent polished it yet. ive just got done polishing a cover for a 2.2 and i can post pics of that tonight.

Are you clearcoating after polishing?

 

I'd be interested in one for a 2.4.......but like others said....pics and pricing are neccessary

UPDATE AND POSSIBLY TERMINATION

OK PUT THE VALVE COVER FROM A SAAB 9-3.......PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING AS THE SS IN THE STRIPPER @ WORK.

Pull it out and it is super pitted....i mean there are all kinds of lil grain liek holes in it everywhere. So we took to sanding it and got it faily smooth.to the eye and the cover itself has all kinds of "waves" and "dimples" and what not we wetsanded it and polished just the top and it doesnt look good @ all.

It is way differnt than the 2.2 one we did.

Sorry to get ur hopes up guys but it seems like way more work then the 2.2 and i dotn have tiime to get it done for awhile.....ill upload pics tonight.

I just want the carbon fiber one that's been "coming soon" from Modern Performance for what seems like forever.

I had heard the same thing with polishing ours, that it just doesn't look right when it's done.
