Quick question on the injen intake

about to order an injen intake for my 2006 ss/sc. Just wondering how much the current owners have paid for it-- to make sure i'm not getting ripped a new one. I'm gonna call for prices tomorrow.
Any negatives?

Thanks in advance.

thanks for the quick response.. i am just gonna do some quick shopping around tomorrow and i will probably be ordering from you by the weekend. I have seen 1 other price, and you have it beat by about $25.

you wouldn't happen to have one for a 2002 mustang 4.6L? I don't think there is one, but my dad is interested for his car too if there is one.

Hey Mikekoz, just installed my Injen today. Looks and sounds great! Can feel a difference. There were some fitment issues. The Injen install thread pretty much points them out. I do suggest checking carfully if the hood prop bracket is going to make contact or not. I removed mine for now until I work something out.

I have my intake sitting here still. The look awsome, and from what I heard they are.

I was checking it out the other day, is there supposed to be like a slight oil/dirt like film on the inside ot the intake pipe? Should i try washing it out?

When Injen addresses these fitment issues (or K&N CEL problem) they will have my order. I'm sure others are also holding back because of this, look at all the questions people are posting every day. Some are even going back to stock and selling their intakes because they are sick of the problems

When you get all the way to the checkout screen, there is a box to input discounts and then a recalculate button. just put in the discount and then hit recalculate.

okay, i ordered the black one. thanks for your help everyone.

*edit* Did anyone actually dyno the car before and after the intake? On injen's website it says up to 17 hp and 16 ft.lbs. torque--- is this realistic or just a generous number?

EXACTLY!! My Fujita is out and i've returned it to stock and you know what - power feels exactly the same. We all want to feel that our money has been put to good use but when the product you've purchased doesn't deliver, well that just sucks!!

JMC was right, the 2.0L needs more fuel, not more air. The stage kits will rectify this with the larger injectors and PCM reflash. The intakes being sold by these companies are just a big cash grab and they know enthusiasts like us will pay whatever price to have the latest **** in our cars. I guess that's why they call it CAPITALISM!!

unfortunately i didn't get a chance to dyno before i put on the Injen intake, but my 06 SS S/C with JUST the intake dynoed at 231hp and 210tq on a mustang dyno at evolution performance on their dyno day in January.

I believe Injen is the intake I will buy, as my first performance addition to the car. Only complaint I may have is the rubbing/scratching some post about, but I think there was ways around that.
I'd like to find a dyno shop closer to home to get it done before I put it in, but closest I've found is an hour away. Being in daytona I thought there'd be one right next door.
How do you guys like the sound of it?
