what are the possible causes of Power Steering failure? im taking my car to gm dealership tomorrow but im curoius i got the 2.2 07 tune from trifecta and im an auto. but i dont think thats it.

when i drive, usually when i have the ac at full blast, the DIC yells at me and it says Power Steering. sometimes when i drive w/o the ac on, it says Power Steering. so am i have electrical failure cause the tune is putting alot of power on the engine or just a maintenance issue?

My car did that and when I took it to the dealer they said that the electric motor was faulty. They replaced the whole assembly and I haven't had a problem ever since.
