Installing junker LSD tranny, suggestions?

So I'm planning on getting an LSD transmission from a wreck shop in another state. It has 17k miles on it, the guy at the shop said it worked fine before it got wrecked, and the car was wrecked from a rollover (so in theory it should be mechanically sound). Since I am pulling the trans, am taking the opportunity to swap the clutch. I have a few questions;

I'm planning on taking everything to a trans shop to be installed, so I'll ask them to look the transmission over, but is there anything I should look for on the outside before I have them install it, only to find out it was busted in some noticeable way? I don't need the speed sensor (04 Redline), but is there anything else I can examine on the outside?

Is it worth the money to get new flywheel bolts? I have only found them at CED for $50, which seems high, but if reused bolts have any history of failing I'll just get new ones. Also, does anyone have a part number?

I planned to get the trans fluid from a dealer, but I've heard rumors of an additive for LSD equipped transmissions. Is this right? Since I'm getting the fluid from a dealer I can just ask, but if I have a part # that'd make it easier on me because most dealers are less than helpful.

That's all I can think of for now. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, its cheap if u by the part online(80-90$). The dealer will charge you 120-130$. You could change it yourself to save some money. It's just 3 torx bolts and the line in. Take 5 minutes to change.

Yeah, I had planned to order the bolts and ToB from GMPD and swap the bearing before I even take the trans to the shop.
