I know MRZ has a lightweight alternator pulley. I'm pretty sure some other supporting vendors have have lightweight pulleys as well so you will probably want to do some research for the best deals.

yeah its true, you might want to invest in another mod..not much power to pick up from lightweight pulleys, even if you do underdrive pulleys your still not really gonna be able to weigh out the cost to power ratio.. lightweight crank and alt pulley's Maybe 1whp..underdrive (slows things down) them Maybe 2whp..

but I wonder what would happen if someone took their stock crank pulley off and drilled holes in the side of it to lighten it.. Not many holes like 10 holes with a 3/8 drill bit.. That shouldnt weaken it do bad..and it would weight less.. anyone tried this??

Not positive but it may be balanced and that may throw the balance off, plus thats a decent amount of strain put on that pulley. Not sure, if someone had a spare it might be worth a try.

yeah your right its gotta be balanced.. it would have to be done by someone that was a machinist and had a calibrated drill press.. I dont think it would be to wise to try to eye ball it with a hand drill..lol

lawlsssss

It would wreak havok on your internals my friends. Even if u took it to a machinist, and u told them what it was for, you prolly walk out of the shop with it lodged in the side of your neck.
