I smell high 13's?

I'm going to the track Friday night. My mods are a CAI, Hahn 3" DP & Cat-back, stock header, and new tires. Also, if I get it on a Hurst STS, and if it comes by Friday an Ingalls Engine Torque Dampener. Do I have a 13 second car?

I am going to say if those are your only mods, you will probably be very low 14's but I doubt you will dip into the 13s. If you get a really good run it could be possible to see a 13.99 or so, but I am going to say doubtful.

we'll right now my best run is a 14.5 at 99 mph with almost no tread on the stock tires and a cat-back exhaust no DP.. So i'm hopin to see a high 13 with tread and a DP.

How far is Beaver Springs from you? Couple of my buddys and i are heading up there Saturday for the test and tune. If its close you should scrap friday and some up there with us Saturday. I have HPT I will be taking to tweak my tune and log my buddys st. 2 car.

um cat-back and d/p doesnt do much for your quarter mile time but let you pass the finish line with a loud sound behind you lol

i say 14.1 is the fastest

A full on cat-back system nets ya about 10-12whp, so I don't think you're gonna see a whole lot more from the addition of just a dp (3-4whp?).

As far as new tires goes, it depends what kind they are. Overall, I'd say you'd be lucky to drop 1-2 tenths off your time.

14.35 @ 100mph?

(If you added Stage 2 with your new rubber and dp, I'd say you'd definitely be in the 13's)

no, you wont see 13s. And new tires do not grip well, on average they need atleast 5K miles before they are fully worn in and gripping like they were designed to.

Tread doesn't really matter at the track.. unless you are racing in the rain.

You have a chance, but I don't know if it'll happen. Get a header in there and really open it up. Then I would say you have a lot better chance.

Yup.

New tires aren't going to grip any better than will worn tires (tires worn down too far will not be running on the tire's softer "tread" compound).
