everytime i fill up my balt has trouble turning on
sup guys just wonder what has been going on with my snowbalt.
i do scheduled oil changes myself and run 93. I bought my balt @70k and now @106K. Great car no problems whats so ever just until recently about this.
it cranks but normally but shuts off every time i pump some gas. i have to do it atlease 4 or 5 times until it turns on. I also use the royal purple injector cleaner ever since ive had it.
it also smells funny aswell with cold starts somtimes, i know it has somthing to do with my fuel.
any input i would appreciate
thanks guys!

Try this next time you fill up. Hold the gas pedal to the floor and crank the car for 5 seconds or so. Then release the pedal.
When the purge solenoid fails, it allows fuel vapor to fill the intake manifold, so there's no air to burn to start the car. When you give 100% throttle during cranking the car goes into flood-clear mode which disables the injectors, so you can pull fresh air in and pump the fuel vapors out. Should start right up.
If that does the trick, replace the vapor solenoid on the left side of the valve cover (transmission end), it's got the black plastic line going from it to the supercharger and another one going back to the rear of the car.
