clear coat peeling on aftermarket stock headlights...
i picked up a set of painted stock headlights....however i found out that they are not GM they are eagle eye OEM replacements...
the clear coat is peeling off the lenses pretty bad.
ive been buffing the shhh out of them with scratch and swirl remover but its taking years to come off....
i used a razor blade and just grazed the surface and it comes off pretty good...
but im nervous using this technique and it doesnt work on the rounded parts of the lights...
anybody have any other ideas?
buffing compound...? or is it too abrasive for the plastic...
please help...
