Unhappy My SS/SC headed to the shop. :'(

Check engine light came on today and it's missing in 2 of the 4 cylinders. 1st I hit a deer in broad daylight and do 7 grand in damage. Then 2 weeks after I got it back someone backed into me. Now this. I wonder what else will go wrong with it. :-/

Yeah it sucks. They said that they might need it for awhile but who knows. I love the car but I think that in 2-3 years im going to trade it in on the new Camaro instead of keeping it. The new Camaro's are badass.

lol, WTF?

You might want to skip on the new Camaro and just go straight for a tank. I bet it was a woman who backed into you, wasn't it. :P

Actually it wasn't. It was some young guy in a Honda Civic. Me and a few of my buddies were at a parking lot talking and went into a store and when we came out it was sitting in front of me waiting for me to come out. Honest guy for staying there till I came out. The thing that sucks about it is i've had a 90 Silverado with a lift kit and all kinds of **** and not one thing happens to it and I get a new car and it's been a nightmare. But I got to get back into the V8. This is the 1st 4cyl I have had and I like it, but it's just not the power if a V8. I think by the time my lease is up on my Cobalt, the new SS Camaro will be out and I will actually buy that.

Also I got the news back on my car. All the spark plugs were fouled out and causing it to misfire. I assume I was just getting a range of bad gas.

I'm surprised. Most negligible fender benders these days seem to be from that second X chromosome. I would say the noew Camaro will be a good move, but I think for myself, I'm going to wait a couple years rather than jump on a first-or-second year model again like I did with the Cobalt. I'm thinking the '09 Camaro is going to be the one for me. By then I should have most of the Cobalt paid off, but more importantly, I don't want to go through the introductory model mishaps all over again. I'll let the anxiety wear off, the recalls come out and disappear, and then I'll shop.

Well they wont allow me to trade mine in until 08' or 09' so that'll be when I get mine.

You kno, my car was never really acting up or missing. The only thing I noticed was after I shifted to 2nd gear my car was jumpy but I think thats because it was in the high 20's low 30's and the engine/SC was cold. But back to the point, only thing I noticed was the check engine light came on and I was right by a dealership and went in and asked them to run a test on it and they said it was misfiring.
