2.8 and 60lb problems after install

Last night i installed my 2.8inch pulley, 60lb injectors and smaller belt. My problem is that its running on the stock tune. At about 4-5000 rpm the car boggs like its getting too much fuel to the combustian chamber. What i'm thinking the problem is is that on the stock tune the computer was giving the stock injectors tons of fuel and now that the 60lbs are on and the flow rate on them is much higher, it's drowning my engine with too much gas. Tune?? My buddy has an HP tuner but we have no clue how to use it. If anyone could help that would be awesome. thanx

And thats exactly wahts happening... your going to really hurt something... i would take off the 60s and go back to stock untill you learn how to tune, and you just cant do that over night..

You might be able to have someone send you a tuner file for the 60s, and you can use hp tuners to hook it up to the car... And honestly if you dont know what any of those numbers mean when you try to use hp tuners, dont try to tune your car cause you could end up hurting something even more...

If you dont get those 60s out soon your going to need a new engine.

btw if your VE tuning (which right now I wouldnt)

copy the high octane table to the lower octane, otherwise its in vain.

I only booted it after i put it on. I'm babying it right now until i get out of work and my buddy brings his tuner over. Do think it's bad that i'm driving it. My work is 3 miles from my house so i'm not going too far.

you can DL a tune from the HPT website.

there are several tunes on there with the IFR tables scaled for the 60's.

that'll at least get you pointed in the rite direction.

Z06, just get a tune, you'll be fine after that, right now your engine is hating you, your ECU has no idea what's going on.

the HP tuners forum probably has them, or contact one of the guys here that does a lot of tuning, i'm sure they could hook you up. maybe it'll be safer to pull them out until you can get a tune.

I just can't believe that so many people think they can just change injectors without reprogramming the pcm. its ridiculous.
