Make sure it is a base tune for 60lb injectors and not a actual tune , because if you upload someone else tune you can mess your car up faster than the 60lbs would.

yes they have base tunes , that are made to get you from point a to b. less timing and a little rich and then you have to fix them , but it will be safer than what your doing now.

there is a injector spreadsheet that you can download off the hptuners forum. It has the conversions on it, all you do is put in your flow ratings and it gives you your #'s

60 lb tune thread This thread may help your friend out with the 60 lbers, it shows how to tune the flow rates without maxxing the table and gives the correct offsets for the injectors. Just helps all around if you're new at it.

I looked on the HP tuners website and they only have tunes for 2.6inch pulley and 60lbs none for 2.8 and 60lbs. I loaded the one from the website and there's a huge diffenence in performance, but i would like to have a tune from a 2.8 ad 60lbs to be safe. If anyone knows where to get one let me know. Thanx

Well right now that tune for the 2.6 and 60s is by far safer than you running a 2.8 and 60s..... Any reason why you didnt locate a tuner before you decided it was a good idea to install your parts? Honestly i'd return it back to stock until you find someone to tune it. Just my two cents

I'm pretty new and ignorant when it comes to this stuff and i was told to go with the 60's over the 45's for more performance, but i didn't know how it would effect the car. My buddy knows what he's doing so tomorow he's going to take a look at it. Wouldn't the 2.6 tune be worse for the car because it would be telling the injectors to send more fuel?

I was just wondering, i wasnt trying to be a dick. We all have to start somewhere to learn from. I think you just got a lil excited about moding the car n jumped the gun since you didn't know what all was completely involved in moding it for the 2.8 and 60s.

LOL I know your not being a dick. My buddy tells me the same thing about me getting all excited and putting all this stuff on my car without knowing whats up. I'm sending out a couple of emails to see if some people can get me a tune for it, but we'll see.

What i'm thinking the problem is is that on the stock tune the computer was giving the stock injectors tons of fuel and now that the 60lbs are on and the flow rate on them is much higher, it's drowning my engine with too much gas. Tune?? My buddy has an HP tuner but we have no clue how to use it. If anyone could help that would be awesome. thanx
Download a canned tune from the hp tuners site until you learn. There should be a ton on there for the cobalt or even redline.

You might be able to have someone send you a tuner file for the 60s, and you can use hp tuners to hook it up to the car... And honestly if you dont know what any of those numbers mean when you try to use hp tuners, dont try to tune your car cause you could end up hurting something even more...

If you dont get those 60s out soon your going to need a new engine.
Running rich? Doubt it.

Why didn't you get our tune when you ordered the pulley and injectors? We can email it to you. PM me for info and pricing.

I loaded up a tune from hp tuners for a 2.6inch and 60's, the car was running really rich so i fallowed the 60lb thread insturctions and that tune is more modest on power and idles better, but i'm still running too rich so i think i'm going to just buy a tune for my setup.
