Hey Everyone,

In advance please forgive this old greaser's total noob question......I just picked up an '07 SS 2 weeks ago (with only 5k miles on it!) and I have been having a lots of fun driving it. I have been researching the site for mods to make as money frees up and am looking forward to having fun with this puppy.

My question is this:

There is a sticker on the fuel rail guard from GM Performance listing part numbers which turn out to be for the stage 2 kit. Could I have been so incredibly lucky that my bumblebee (It's yellow with black stripes) has this installed or is this simply a "stock" sticker listing the part numbers you would order? I've looked at photos here of other people's engines but I do not see this sticker in their photos. Btw, the exhaust is definitely not stock - looks and sounds like either Magnaflow or GM Performance.

that sticker comes with the S2 kit.
either it had it at one time, or still does.

easiest tell, is to look for blue bolts on your supercharger pully.
if you have them, you probably have stage 2.

 

and the blower is so much louder

 

get under neeth it and see what the exhaust says... And how much boost u got?

 

It's got the blue bolts!!!! WOOHOO!! No Idea about the boost (haven't really kept my eye on the gage when I jumped on it). The rev limiter kicked in at 7k when I launched it yesterday. Was showing it off at a family picnic. My son said he could easily hear the whine over the exhaust from a few blocks away, lol. I did try and crawl under (couldn't fit all the way, LOL) and there are no emblems on the exhaust that I can see (unless they're on top). There's a long resonator connected to the pipe just past the cat and ends with an oval shaped (on the ends) muffler with a large (4") angle cut chrome tip welded on. Looks just like the pics for a magnaflow.

 

yup you absolutely have S2.
