Tire pressure sensors

I bought a set of wheels to mount winter tires on and was wondering where I could get the tire pressure sensors for my 08 SS/TC. I was checking parts direct and can't find them. If I don't put any on, would I keep getting warnings of low tire pressure on my information screen?

Ebay or the parts department at the dealership.
Yes, you will get the warning symbol on the screen if you don't run them.
Search the site for tire pressure sensors and you will get numerous threads about it.

I just found some at Tirerack.com. $31each. If I can't find them on e-bay, i'll get them from there. I got a set of 18" off a 07 SS/SC and found e-bay to be a good source for tires. Only problem is I can't find a really aggressive tread pattern in the 225/40-18, only all seasons.

I dont think th 07 SS/SC rims will fit the 08 SS/TC because of the Brembo brakes..... Have you test fitted them yet?

No, im in the process of getting shipping quotes for my for sale thread. I think they will fit but will definetly need at 20mm spacer. I just dont know where the hell to get them.

the 05-07 SS/SC rims should fit... seeing as the 17" SS2.4 rims fit... I just sold my stock 17s to a local member for his 08 SS/TC..

we test fit them in my parking lot, they are tight with the offset but they fit fine.

The 18" SC rims DO NOT FIT. i tried them this morning and they arent even that close. the space between the back of the rim and the hub was about 1/2". at least i would suggest getting 25mm spacers (about 1") to be safe.

ouch that sucks.. figured the 18's would fit, they are the same offset as the 17's correct?

this is a post from another member regarding the 17s, just for picture reference.
