2.0 vs 2.4 header

Is there a difference between the 2.0 and the 2.4 exhaust manifold "header" I have seen some pics of some ecotec exhaust manifold that only look like they have a 3/4 opening at the collector and some have a fully opened collector.. Has anyone ported a lsj exhaust manifold and put it on there 2.4? Has anyone put a GMPP header on there 2.4??

what would be the difference between porting a lsj manifold myself and buy a GMPP header?

I know that the GMPP is the worth flowing header..but I want to retain my warranty..my local dealer is picky..lol..

2.0 and 2.4 uses the same exhaust manifold!

GMPP manifold is a 2.0/2.4 manifold that has been extrude-honed. Supposed to provide 7% more flow capability.

Yes the 2.0 and the 2.4L manifold are the same.

FYI it is not a header... A header is manufactured from "tubes" a manifold is "cast"

will it fit

so to add to my other question, if you had headers for a 2.4 and you put them on a 2.0 will every thing bolt up the same. becouse some fool is selling a header down pipe combo, for his 2.4... but the problem is i have a 2.0 ss/sc. so will it fit ? or will some modification be needed
