rushing sound of water when hitting gas

hey guys i have an 06 ls and when i either start the car in the morning or even when i have the car warmed up and i rev a little bit i hear this sound of rushing water or coolant somewhere from under the dash..i think it has something to do with the heater core but im not sure as to why i hear this sound...anyone else have this sound...i was thinking to check to see if i was low on coolant but it seems okay from my resevoir any help would be appreciated!!!!

PS i did try using the search button and got nothing

only thing i can think that would sound like a woosh sound..specially when hitting gas. haha

That sound is a air bubble in your heater core.

With a cold motor take the radiator cap off and idle it for 15 mins or so then put the cap on and hopefully it wont do it anymore unless you have an intake leak common gm thing. Watch your temp too with the cap off
