i know its not gona be cheap but i also know that your not getting 550 dollars worth of parts, and yes i understand they did the research and that they want to make a profit i was just wondering if there was a slightly cheaper alternative

You can get a fuel rail for $30, a pump for $100, a regulator for something around $150, a fuel filter and fuel lines (no idea).

So probably about $300 if you piece the kit together yourself.

ha, i run the kit and can say without doubt the parts are well over $400 alone not including the custom fittings and brackets we made for everything.

you also didn't have stainless braided lines or the mount for the fp reg, don't know about the gauge but there are differences between the two trust me

the pumps usually 100 most places the fpr is 140, then all the fittings and lines you picked up for 60?

from experience I spent about $490 on the parts for mine before OTT came out with there kit.
i wish i could have had there kit, because my "kit" pieced together is almost exactly the same thing, minus their sweet FPR bracket, and the hardline-to-stainless line connection for the return.
Oh and i had to have my fuel rail welded with a fitting because i didn't know about their fitting for the end of the rail
I'm still trying to figure out where they found a hardline with the right "flare" for the quick disconnect..

Save your self the head ache of ordering all the fittings that work together and everything else and just spit out 550 if you want it that bad. IT is worth it, and thats coming from someone who didn't buy their kit.

FCS! back here at the shop we can make ourselves, and buy at wholesale prices just about anything...I looked at this kit ( we have built about 15 race cars with similar stuff in the past few years,) and said to myself: "self, this is a good price and a nice bracket and hoses to length and nice machined adaptor, and well thought out, so self buy it from him next time"

for the rest of you naysayers do it yourself screw it up and spend more time and money . Jerks. You are safer to leave the darn fuel system alone. Also, if anyone got help from you and then posts here and dumps on you, well shame on you ifyou help him next time.

I dont like my tone here but you know some days folks should just chill and stop picking at the prices without understanding whats involved, ...so taking my advuce and chilled myself ....I am done...

better tuning capabilities, and the ability to push more hp out of 60's without making them go static
