Sportline install questions

Couple questions before i install my sportlines saturday...1st and most important...ive never installed springs on a cobalt and hear something about bump stop cutting? is this just on the back? does it have to be done? and if so, how much do i cut off? also, even if my old struts get worn, they wont ever physically break will they? and last but not least...who all commutes with these springs? i live in a different city than my family and drive about an hour to my home town and back every weekend. thanks guys.

Cut the rear bumpstops in half. I didn't touch the front. I cut them where the bumpstop starts to "round over". You'll see what I mean when you pull them off. I commute with my car, and its been 9 months since I've put the springs on. I do plan on getting the Koni's in the winter though.

Eibach includes a measurement for how much to cut with the instructions, its about 22mm front and 15mm rear I think, I could be wrong. Do cut them, they are a foam material, use a hack saw, or a serrated knive, razor blade, whatever works.

Struts can't "break" from springs, they will just wear out and not do anything, making the ride bouncy.

The Sportlines to me ride much like the factory springs, not harsh at all. Thats why you pay a little more for Eibachs than some of the others out there, they work well.
