My girlfriend has just founded a Winter Haven chapter of the Hash House Harriers. If you don't know what the group is, basically it is a social group of runners/walkers/hikers, that attempt to follow a trail until they find their way to the beer/soda/snacks. If you want more information, feel free to google it and you'll find all sorts of information. The group itself is considered to be a 'drinking club with a running problem'. It doesn't really matter what type of condition you are. You can be an excellent runner or someone that hasn't run in years, doesn't really matter. It is more about the social aspect of it all and of course... the festivities at the end.

You can contact me directly and I'll tell you all the details, give you directions, etc. We currently have about 15-20 people that are going to show up of all different backgrounds and experiences... and would like to have quite a few more. The more we have, the more fun it will be.
