My cat from SLP has a hole in, at first i thought it was the clamps on the dp but now since I have welded my dp together to try and fix the problem it only finally pointed to why my car was hissing at me . So now I have two questions for you guys...

1) Do you think SLP will replace my cat even though I welded it together?

2) Before contacting SLP about this should I take it to a shop and try to get the welds broken?

The dp was welded up by a reputable exhaust/performance shop and they actually did a nice job other than telling me that my cat has a hole in it lol.

yea but it sounds horrible bc u can hear the exhaust leaking bad when u get on it

 

I just got in contact with SLP and they want a picture of the hole, so hopefully they will replace the cat.

I am just hoping to get my whole exhaust system working properly so I can try and help SLP out by showing that their exhaust doesn't sound like "rice" or "shitty" and that they stand behind their product and the gains are exceptional. I want to get my car on the dyno before I get stage 2 thrown on to how much hp I did actually gain.
