Retired GM Engineer has beetter tune for SS\TC then HPT

That's right, he has access to all the programming software and some other goodies HP Tuners can't get their hands on, or anyother tuner that's aftermarket for that matter.

Met him at TJs memorial (the Yellow GTO that crashed last week) at the pavs. He's Tj's uncle. Has a 750hp all motor 2003 Z06, stock block and cubes. The motor makes alot of this power due to his tuning abilities and he works with the best guys that GM has. These Guys are a silent secret group that tunes GM cars and they all work within the Engineering department of the company. they tune GM's race cars and hot rod SCCA street cars to mention a few. I asked him about HPT for my SS\TC and he said he could get a much more reliable tune with about 10 more hp and tq and adjust so many more things accurately that can't be done with HP and others.

I will hook with him and see what he can do. My SS\TC will be a test mule

I'll let you all know what I find out.

Cool, keep us updated, btw
the SCCA cars are actually de-tuned and dont make more power than the production cars.....not saying that you incinuated otherwise, just throwing that out there

Because its SUPER illegal for him to do it. Same reason GM does offer aftermarket tuners/tuning.
