My new tail lights!!

Hey guys! I got my tail lights done today. Feel free to leave questions/comments. Enjoy!

Oh yeah...my buddy helping me didn't have the right blinker in all the way at first...that's why it looks like that. If I had LEDs on the outer tail lights they would flash at the same time. I'd like to thank yellowltcoupe22 for helping me out with this. He was super patient. If anyone wants a How-To..let him or I know...we'll be glad to help!

I bought them from Oznium.com. 19" Flexible LED strips. I baked the lights to get them apart and just wrapped them inside and then wired everything up.

I'll get a How-To up tomorrow. I won't have pictures, but I do have this write up that I made:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/priv...m&pmid=1084239

It's pretty simple, just two diodes and a resistor for each light.

would you have to buy anything for this?

I mean to make both tail lights flash, not the LED's.

if not, count me in for a how to!

To make both tail lights flash you have to add LEDs to them because there isn't a light in there.

I'm going to get that How-To up tomorrow afternoon. I have a Quantitative Methods test tomorrow...but I'll definitely get the drawing up along with a parts needed. Sorry there won't be any pictures because it's already done...but I'll do the best I can!

The reverse lights are in the same spot and they still work. I just didn't put the car in reverse.

This mod was done for under $50 too!! Pretty good for such an amazing mod!!

Oh yeah? haha...I'm sure you have like 15 drawings of mine lol.

Does this help anyone? This is for the passenger side. It's the same for the driver's side, the wire is just yellow instead of green.

Let me know.

Nope......doesnt help at all.

I think a written How To will be much better. And how did you get the inner signal light to light up first then the outer one
