I installed the ZZP intercooler and 2.7 pully and now my car runs hotter. If I'm just sitting the temp will go up and down from 190 to 207. If I'm crusing and i gun it the temp raises to 207. Anyone have any ideas why it would do this?

 

What you did shold have nothing to do with you engine coolant temperature. Or is that your IAT2's?

 

No is the coolant temp. If i drive on the highway its runs just like it did before. I dont know if its just not getting as much air to the radiator now in the city or what but driving in the city it bounces around between 190 and 207.

 

actually what he did will. the air going through the radiator is probably at least 5 to 10* hotter than before and more restricted. i noticed the same thing but i only went up maybe 4* for coolant temps. not 10*. check and make sure you have the fans running properly.
