Its time to get rid of my 2005 cobalt sedan. I looked at a 2009 imperial blue 1LT coupe with the "chrome package". The car comes with the chrome grill,chrome door handles, chrome exhaust tip, and fog lights. It has the new hubcap design (do not want them). The dealer will put the rims of my choice on the car,but they will be silver with a polished lip 17". I also want the GM intake system for the car. Does anyone have the intake on their car?? The new 2.2 is a beast. There is a big difference in power from my 05 L61 2.2. So I think its time to get the 09 and keep this one for at least 5 years. Then buy a Camaro RS/SS later down the road.

 

Sounds pretty good. So why dont you pay off your current car and have it for a full downpayment when you get the camaro?

 

Well money is tight right now and the 05 cobalt is leased and I'm over my miles. so my dealer is trying to get my current car payed off. So that's the current mess I'm in right now..

 

i guess i'll bite the bullet and be the first one to say it.... why not go for the SS?

The next cobalt will not be leased. I've learned my lesson with my 05....I thought about the SS but, the price is a little to much right now,plus insurance will be to high for me with the SS...
