Thinking about an 09 TC

Well yesterday I was up having my window weather stripping fixed and was practically drooling over this black 09 SS/TC. Has everything including sun roof, high wing, LSD - all but the LCD display, which I really don't need. I just got my 08 LT in June, but wanted to find an SS. You guys think I'd be able to trade in my LT on this new SS? It just hit 5000 miles last night. I wouldn't even know what to do payment wise. The SS had a price of just a tick over 25K. Would I be able to retain low payments if I traded in? I'm only paying $208 a month on my LT, and trade in value is roughy 13 grand. Think I can get that SS/TC?

25K I recently requested a price quote and it was fully loaded with everything even the audio upgrade for like 24.6 and im sure you can talk them down from there

Specifics my friend.

Did it have the LSD? That would easily account for a $500 price difference, plus the 09 models have gone up in price because the cost of fuel and steel has gone up exponentially!

Well it all depends on how much your payoff is, what your credit is like, and how much you can talk them down to. interest rates have gone up every were and even with my near perfect credit I was only able to get 6% for 72. I got the car at employee pricing for like 22k, and my payment came out to be $400 a month and thats before gap and stuff. With every $1k you put down it will knock roughly. $17-20 off of your monthly payment. Its a great car and is superb all the way around, just don't drive yourself to the poor house with it. No car is worth that.

Your payments are going to double. Maybe more if you trade in and get less than you owe; thus rolling negative equity into the new loan. If that's the case....you'd almost be better off keeping what you got and buying the SS as a 2nd car.

above post *nails it* if your really interested in the ss/tc I'd either do as gatekeeper suggested or sell the LT private and put that as a downpayment.
