I just changed my MAF sensor after a year of it being fried....(Air to fuel ratio was off...running too rich). When I put the new one in..the light shut off after an hour or so. then today it came back on, and then after a half hour it shut off. I went to a auto part store and had the previous codes read... dont remember the numbers but they were... maf sensor ckt.....02 sensor slow response....engine running to rich bank 1...and some other one. They deleted the codes and after a half hour the light came back on. Im headed back now to get my codes read again and I will post the numbers and what they are. Hopefully someone could help me or give some advice after my next post

Ok..the code is P0171---Syster too lean bank 1. I just replaced my 02 sensor about 2 months ago...maybe its fouled up again from running too rich before i replaced the MAF??? Could my second 02 sensor throw that code too?

 

After running around with your MAF sensor fried, the car ran rich. Your O2 sensor is probably toast causing this CEL's.

 

Thats what my guess was. Do you think that it would be the 02 sensor in the manifold or the 02 sensor towards the back

 

The one in the header. The second one is just a cat measurement device.
