So i just had a simple question. Is there currently any Cali Balt owners that have installed the Haun Turbo system on their Cobalt ? I would love to install one on my 07 SS 2.4 but i know the kit is not street legal in Cali, if i so choose to ever do this to my balt it will not be a daily driver, mainly intended for occasional cruising get-togethers, possible drag strip fun once or twice but mainly just for *****-N-giggles, if your in cali and have this set up please let me know how you are dealing with it not being street-able. My balt is bone stock atm but plan on modding it out in the very near future.

do it and find a friend that can pass u during smog....theres no referees so u cant get inspected and cops wont know from **** if u put a ss/tc badge on ur car...just play it off as stock

 

Thanks Raven, thats most likely just what i will do, my cousin owns his own California smog shop and i actually worked there for him for 2 years, he likes to play things legit but maybe he can do me some special favors lol. I still wont need to smog till 2011 though hopefully so i have some time. I just really want to mod my car and make it more fun.

Under location it says Tampa for me...but there's about 8-12 Cobalts around town that cruise. Back in 2006 and early 2007 I use to hang out with a red ss/sc, blurple ss/sc, silver ss/sc, black ss. My buddy Brian (Birdfi) on here is part of a club along with Socal Ecotecs. Do a search for people in Bakersfield and start PMing them, best of luck to you!
