LC-1 gauge?

I'm curious to know how many of you folks have a gauge hooked up with an Innovate wideband. I put mine in on Saturday, and the output on the gauge seems to lag by a half a second. What I mean is - I'll step on the gas, the needle will stay where it was, and a solid half second later, it will move.

I'm curious if this is the norm for the G3 gauge or if I may have gotten a busted one - more importantly, will the output to HPT lag behind as well?

Thanks.

.5 sec delay... u are measuring exhaust AFR. Takes a while to get the commanded air and fuel in to the combustion chamber, ignite it and throw it out to the sensor.

I guess that's possible, but if I rev the engine, by the time the engine is winding down the needle often still hasn't gone up at all. I know there should be some delay, but it seems longer than it should be.
