But really, The Cobalt is running 225/50/17 and i've got Yokohama's AD07. Kinda pricey for a summer tire. I hear the bridgestone pole position is a nice tire. I run bridgestone run flats on my srt and they're a good tire as well.

sticky tires are noisy, quiet tires arent sticky. But with that said the quietest tires Ive used/installed are

Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2/PS2(summer tire)
Yokohama Advan Sport(summer tire)

Yokohama Avid W4S(all season)
Kuhmo Ecsta AST(lower performance all season, great "cheap" tire)

When my 17's go on I am plannign on trying out the Bridgestone G019 Grids as my everyday tire, 460 treadwear with an A/A rating, and only just over $100/ea in 225.45.17

If you want good grip get the KDW G FORCE TA. I was running 235 40 18's and had way less spin in first and handled great, I am running them on my Trans am too, 295 out back and no grip hahah . Mine were noisier than the perelli's not rediculous just leave turn up the radio.
