Yea I saw those tires in a video, just at the auto show though, it relives pressure on all those links in it, all stretchy material, quite a good idea, the guy says it will be about two years before they hit the market, but for people to get off of rubber tires, its going to take longer than that! The upside however is that you wouldnt have to replace your tires for alot longer, plus I believe you could only replace the outside tread. Other problem..what about rims!?
