Will a 225/50/17 fit on the stock 2.4 SS 17" rim
Found a good deal on some 225/50/17 tires. Will they fit on the 17x7 rim?
I know they are larger than stock but it is only like 2mph at 60 so no big difference.

go with 225/45/r17 then it would make ur speedo about equal. Going 225/50/17 will make your tires too tall. 225/45/17 has the same overal diameter as stock so it wont throw your speedo out.
And yes a 225 series tire will fit, i just finished putting 225/45/17 tires on my SS/NA cobalt
