So I had my car re-tuned and it seems to be fine until I get on it alil or alot then when I take it out of gear to either coast or shift the rpms drop down to 400 then up to 2500 then back and forth.

These are made from my phone. They had good sound to them but once loaded to photobucket all sound gone. But its the RPM'S that need checked.

 

Try cleaning the throttle body this worked for me 110%... maf might be dirty too... is this RIGHT after you got tuned? He could have done something with the maf sensor that wasnt right.. but he shouldnt have let you leave if that was the case...

 

It wasnt happening then. I just started noticing it about 2 weeks ago and got tuned about 2 months ago

 

Take off your throttle body.. get some tb cleaner at autozone for 8 bucks or so... clean out all the gunk... it will probly be pretty bad if youve never done it before.

 

never done it and I am at 30k miles. I will give it a clean when the supercharger comes of next week

 

Ive heard of it happening at just about ANY mile range... mine was REALLY bad at 50k... so you can only imagine...

i did the throttle body fix and it didnt work, so i think someone said they have a retune that fixes this, however this is for stock LSJs... guess that doesnt help you out...

 

Yea if it was stock then there could be a prob with the ecu.. but if its tuned that should be fixed.. thats why im sayin tb.

 

You may need to adjust your coast down in HP Tuners..... whomever did your tune have them look at your Coast Down...
