07' SS\SC and 2008-09 SS\TC

The shifter itself and the links \cables for the new 08'-09' Balt SS\TC are not the same as on 07' and older model SS\SC's My dlr tried to swap the shifter link from a 2007 SS\SC and it was not the same so now I'mn back to square one... !!!!!!!! Wait till Feb 2009 for the part or get the damn dlr to take the part ( WHICH TAKES 5 MINUTES TO REMOVE) from an existing New SS\TC of which they have 6 on their lot... and fix my car or make my next 4 car payments, it's that simple..

I will know what they've devided by Sat the 22nd of Nov..

That sucks man..... I would advise them to take it off a stock unit and fix youre car, because by law(cant find the law this minute, but I believe its actually in your onwers manual) to fix youre car within a reasonable time frame or refud/replace your vehicle. No dealer wants a buyback.

i see and i read, but the Koni cars used the new shifter along with the LNF in an LSJ chassis. The racers loved it they said. So before we believe what we read on the web and paticularly this forum its worth checking it out. I will do that i am waiting for some lnf shifters to come in

hey man, you know I worship the ground you stand on. If you told me swapping linkages would net me 1/2 sec in the quarter, I'd do it.

I thought I remembered seeing part of the upgrade to the shift system was the actual **** levers on the trans, weighting/angles/lengths etc...
