Ok so i finally got a reply back from southside pontiac. They are one of the better dealerships in Alta who have worked on numerous projects (like a v8 solstice). I first talked to the service manager, nicest one i talked to so far, he said the magic works, MODS DO NOT VOID WARRENTY, only if it can be PROVEN that something failed as a direct result of the product. He said things like intakes/exhausts ect... usually have no effect on warrenty. Anyways now for the good stuff

STAGE 2 for $1000. Best price i have gotten so far. They also said they would have no problem doing install/flash on the redline/cobalt because they are all gm cars. They also seem like the kind of people that would just do the flash an allow you to install the parts yourself. Even better, it doesn't matter how many people we get, they are going to offer that to everyone, whether its just myself or 10 other people. I think it would be cheaper then getting the kits from the states, once you figure in currency and duties. But anyways, if you are interested let me know. Obviously the more the better. We could have an install/dyno day

That is what I was expecting, we're all glad that GM jacked up the price.

 

I don't see $800 happening, every other place i caled quoted me $1100. I think $1000 is the lowest we are going to find. Like i said they don't care if we get 2 or 20 people a $1000 is what they are offering. But feel free to call around and try and get $800, that would make me happy. Also Jase call around Calgary, i would drive down for $800 stage kits.

No, they don't have them yet as they haven't been released yet....but when i was talking to them they said that because they are not out yet the price (while unlikely) could still go up. They said that buy putting the $1000 that even if the price does go up that is what we will pay. I am going down on wednesday to put my deposit down if Jase hasn't found a better price.
