yea when i went to buy my cobalt the chevy dealer only had a RS coupe lol...it was yellow with black racing stripes and 16 inch black with chrom lip wheels..it also have an exhaust tip and short shifter but thats it so i dont think there is a real RS made by chevy but maybe it just something some dealers do to gay up cobalts.

Yeah, I have seen a "RS" Cobalt at one of the local dealers before. Basically they put stickers on it, put on some custom rims and a spoiler, then charge like $4K more for the car. There is no official "RS" trim from Chevy on the Cobalt.

Sounds like dealer rice to me. What about though, the LT's that come with the Razzi Body kit from the dealership? I almost bought a sport red tintcoat LT with the razzi kit.. I should have, it looked decent, not ricy.. but I still don't like the Razzi front end, it sticks out too much.

I was gonna rebadge my SS/NA as an RS. as RS was always an appearance package back when they made real cars. but that idea was shunned by all.

i got bored with my first Cobalt and ordered emblems for a 68 Camaro RS... I had always had Cavalier RS coupes, so i figured 'screw it.'
i was going to have the seats done up like the Camaro RS from the 70's, but before I could get the seats to the trim shop, i traded the car for my 07 SS

When I bought my car, they had an LT with Razzi kit and powder blue paint with red stripes and ss stickers on the showroom floor. The red on powder blue made my eyes hurt literally. I told one of the salesmen "I've come to get my SS", and one guy pointed at the LT and I about walked out! That thing made baby Jesus cry!
