2nd Gen Projector repair?

I have a set on 2nd Gen projectors. the horizontal bar light is burned out in one of them. Does anyone know how to repair them or who services them? I've already checked the wiring but all seems in order.

thanks

Worst case scenario, I have a chrome left headlight I can sell you. Long story short, I have 2 left headlights, and one right. These are 2nd gens. It's never been installed and never taken out of the box.

Fixing the LED Light Bar

Guys,

I have the same problem with the light bar. It is important to realize that LEDs aren't standard light bulbs. If one goes the whole bar goes (pull one of the sockets out by the two wires and pull the plastic piece out WITH the LED on it). Use the other light bar (minding the +/- signs on the base of the bulb) and figure out which bulb is bad. I am looking for a replacement right now...

we need to know if there is a place we can ship our lights out to and have them fixed or someone has to know how to fix this problem. i'm assuming its a common issue with these lights

yeah im sure it is...unfortunately i thing it will end up as us needing to rplace the light bar all together.....i work in an office and we use CCFL lights (the regular classroom roof lights) and they burn out all the time, theres no repairing, just replacing...

yea.... might have to take the headlights apart...... not looking forward to that. i'd rather send them to someone who knows what they are doing with this kind of thing.

You will likely have to replace it with another CCFL rod (You can find these on eBay).

You could, however, pull it out and see if you can get it working again, and if it works, rewire and reinstall it.

I hear its mostly from moisture and poor sealing that causes the CCFL to not work.
