tire pressure

I have 2008tc and I raised my tire pressure to 36 lbs all around and now that I am driving it everyday instead of weekend only I am thinking of lowering it to about 34 all around to help smooth out the ride alittle.Do you think its dangerous to ride the conti tires at 36 and when they heat up to about 40 will they wear out sooner if I kept them at 36?

36 is definitely to high. The ideal tire pressure depends on the tire the area you drive in and how you drive. You need to monitor your tire pressure and you should take a peek at your tires every now and then to see how they are wearing. If they seem t be wearing out in the center faster then on the sides then you have too much air in your tires and if your tires are wearing on the outside edges (both inside and outside if only one side is wearing then it's an alignment issue) then there's not enough air in your tires.

I would say start at 30 or 32 and adjust it from there...
