Important For All Canadians!!!!

REMINDER ....

All cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing Companies and you will start to receive sale calls.

YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
1 866-580-3625 or 888-382-1222.

It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.

It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number.

Or you can do it online at www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca

HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS..

It takes about 20 seconds

I'm still getting telemarketing despite being on the list. They are robot recordings, do not identify themselves, and block their numbers so I can't complain to the registry. Pretty annoying.

yeah i have had 2 numbers (one from ontario) that have called me every day 3x daily, most of the time there is no one there, so i called them back and it was an automated system giving me a number to call to take me off their list, i called the number, punched my cell number in, and i haven't had a call since.....been about 4 weeks now

Just a follow up - it can take 4 - 6 weeks (as per the site) as they have to distribute the DNC to all the companys so you may still receive calls for a bit but within 2 months they should mostly stop.
