3" pulley installed; WOW!

I just finished installing and testing my 3" pulley, and all I can say is WOW. The difference in power is extremely noticable, and my boost gauge is hitting 15, thats right, FIFTEEN, on the stock electronic gauge, FIFTEEN PSI!!!

Took me about 2 hours, mainly due to the tensioner being retarded and me not being able to get it to slide down. I have a CEL that comes on and off, P0171 because of my intake. I didn't notice any difference when I did the boost bypass mod... Unfortunately now, when I powershift into 2nd, I lose traction; completely.

the blower will scream when you put it on. my 3" pulley puts my boost up at 15.5psi and i dont have the bypass mod either. nor does it drop down at higher RPM's, it stays up there all the way to 6000rpm.

i highly doubt that since you can only go to 12.5 with a stock setup....

ah, ok. thought you were implying that the boost dropped after 6,000

The 3inch is IMO the best pulley, Yes you get more power out of a 2.8, 2.7 ETC. But then you may be spinning the blower just a little to fast, Id rather prolong the life of my blower, by keeping it as close to factory as possible and getting some more low end, plus you dont need Engine Managment, or some Piggyback, just one step colder plugs!

I think someone is confusing boost pressure with quarter mile times. I'm getting FIFTEEN PSI, not seconds.
