wingless help

Any possible way to fill the holes after removing high rise wing WITHOUT paying the $500 at a body shop?????

mabe see if some of the vendors around here make plugs u can put in instead...

ive heard of some people using some kind of puddy to fill in the holes and using touch up paint from dealership to paint over the hardened puddy....good idea? bad idea?

Don't you pull out the key lock mechanism? so can't u just come up with a plug and just secure it from the inside of the trunk?

their is a website that you can go too and buy color matched plugs for your trunk but i cant remember the site i think it was like $30-$40

swap trunks with an LS or go to a junkyard. I got mine after months of searching at a junkyard.

theres a how to on here to fill in bumper license plate holes, which involves the putty and touch up paint. that is the route i am going to take on my G5... should be done next week someime

have you taken your wing off yet? the holes are oddly shaped and when i took my wing off, there were scratches and dents from where the wing was...

My bad, you guys are just talking about plugging the holes for the wing. I was talking about plugging the hole for the trunk lock. If your going to shave the trunk might as well hit the trunk lock up too

yeah i have heard the same thing..probably will just keep looking at junkyards for the slim chance my trunk might pop up...or there is always the trustworthiness of ebay!!!!!

ahh i've been looking for this site all night. i remember seeing it also a few months ago and i thought i bookmarked it but i guess not. if anyone can find it post it up!

like said before, best bet is to find someone that wants to swap trunks. i left a sticky note on some chicks car at olive garden, she called me back and wanted to swap if you know what i mean
