WTS: Black Wingless Trunk Lid
Just sticking this out there to see if anyone is interested.
The trunk lid originally had an SS wing on it, so its technically an SS trunk so it did have ugly holes after I removed the wing.
The wing has already been sold, and I filled in the holes with some quiksteel and was planning on sanding down the entire trunk and repainting it, but before I do that I would possibly like to see if anyone is interested in it.
It does need some work to look good again. Theres some paint chipping from removing the wing, and a couple of very very small (hardly noticeable) dents. The holes that I filled with the quiksteel could use some more work to flatten out and would need to be painted back to black.
Reason why I am selling is a local junk yard has a black 06 low rise trunk lid in perfect condition I want to buy off them, but they arent interested in buying my trunk off me and giving me some money off, so I'm trying to put together some cash to buy it off of them.
I'll start at 200 obo depending on what the initial reaction is to the current condition. I am planning to start sanding some things down and painting, so the sooner someone gets on this the sooner I can lay off any work in case you would rather do it yourself.

well doesnt seem like anyone is interested, so probably this weekend sometime im going to sand down at least the top part of the trunk and repaint it.
as im doing all this work, if anyone is interested let me know at any point, and ill throw up some pics of what ive done so far. ive painted car parts before, and considering its black, all im really worried about is getting the clear coat to match nicely.
