I'm pretty sure you can but there are a couple of reasons why its not done

1) TB is smaller than the LSJ unit so it becomes a restriction that you don't need...

2) There was some concern about a vacuum hose that normally connects to the LSJ throttle body (although this can be tapped somewhere else)

and I'm not sure about the bolt pattern...technically I believe it can be done.

no need... read becks build and he tells you how to rewire (very basic) and just bore out the holes a lil

you dont HAVE to...it still bolts on fine. It just wont flow as well since there will be an uneven surface. I would get a LSJ or LS4 TB though, because using the stock 2.2/2.4 TB requires you to drill new holes for the screws and it wont flow as much anyways.

used, probably pretty cheap. definitely sub $100. Find a member who upgraded to the LS4 TB and buy their stocker

yep. yes it is. I will warn you though, you will have a sensitive gas pedal if you install it, but if you ever pla on running more than 300hp, you'll probably end up getting one anyway. Your call.

yes you can. the only parts you will need to make the belt system work are the LSJ tensioner and the LSJ idler
