wiring remains the same. The alternator is removed so you can access the lower bolt for the IM and is then reinstalled just like the way it came

you wont need the pigtail for the 2.5bar MAP sensor. just the sensor itself to plug the hole for it in the IM. its about $80 new from the dealer

good luck all. feel free to ask me any questions

You don't need the pigtail for the 2.5 bar MAP on the le5? It's on beck's list.

well...it depends. You do if you want to swap in the IAT2 sensor readings for the stock IAT1 readings. But the way Vince tuned mine he just tuned via MAF and left IAT2 unknown. Really it depends i guess. it will work easier on a 2.4 tho, since u guys have HPT and a better ECU, so yea, go ahead and get the pigtail. for any 2.2's though, don't bother with it.

I don't get the purpose though, how is the ECU going to know to pick up IAT2 temps if it doesn't read them normally?

the only reason I can see getting it would be to read additional boost but even that can be avoided with an MAF based tune.

i think some parts can be cut out of both the 2.2/2.4 guides as far as parts needed so you don't necessarily need to follow everything to a T if you know what you're looking for...

also slightly off topic but there is no way to limit boost in the lower gears on the 2.2/2.4 like there is on the LSJ is there?

you use the IAT2 sensor but tap it in to the IAT1 reading, so if your IAT2's are 150*, your ECU will see an IAT1 of 150* and compensate accordingly.

what should be cut from the 2.2 guide btw?

and no, theres no way to limit boost....you shouldnt need to tho...just work the throttle a bit im confident i can out-launch any LSJ thats still running a M62

oh okay I get it...not sure if there is any risk involved if your supercharger cooling is separate from stock though.

there are just other routes you could go IMO parts wise...

like instead of using the tensioner/idler pulley setup from the LSJ, just get the smooth alt pulley from Speed Mafia and run a larger 5 rib belt

also you could probably go another route injector wise and either find injectors that use stock connectors (EV6) or get adapters...will save yourself some wiring.

those would be the biggest differences, aside from your TB, HE and hose choices...

I'll look more into the swap and the details of it all. If you want, I have a stock LSJ throttle body I'll be taking off so I can put on my LS4
