ok quick question. i have the stage 2 with the 2.8 pulley. i see about 16-16.5 pounds. the only exhaust mod i have is a borla muffler and cat delete.

it may go down. doesn't mean you're making less power though.

 

it's breathing better. it'll be ok i concur with D4u2s0t also.

 

boost is simply the difference between normal air pressure and the amount of pressure in the intake.

so, if the engine were to flow more air, the boost should go down, even though power may go up.

in other words, boost is really not a benefit, you could have all the boost in the world, if the engine can't ingest more air during the intake stroke, it's useless.

 

I'd say you'll lose a little boost which is good more flow.

Just remember that boost does NOT equal power. DECREASING your boost is actually a good thing at times .
