I bought a used one, will i need any new gaskets or anything, my car has 20,000km...

yes you will and you will also probably throw a p420 code if its a high flo cat.

No you should be good...

dude thats only 12k and some odd miles..

he can re use teh gaskets

Who cares about the code it doesnt do anything.

i would recommend replacing the gaskets, spend good money on a dp just support it with new gaskets

its only 12k... thats not really that much...

Use good judgement.. If they look REALLY worn (they will look used, obviously) then replace..

if they look okay, which im sure you can tell that, re-use.

the gaskets are a personal opinion if im gonna replace my downpipe im going to spend a little extra for some gaskets. i just like it all new when i do it.

Yes.

BUT... not all high flow cats do this.

there is a spacer in which you can use, that sometimes works.

im using a angled cel eleminator off ebay its works great and it doesnt get caught on the the body like the other eleminators

lol installed it yesterday got the code this morning.

if i get it cleared by my dealer, (which i work at) will the code keep comming back?

yes it will... you need what i think they call an anit-fouler... or the angled piece above... same thing happened on my audi when i put my dp in

Mine comes on peridically with the GM Stage 2 tune since I have the high flow cat but will go away by itself. The S3 tune does not show up at all.I just got to live with it till spring

that one probably wont work becuase it will hit the body get this one ive got the same one and no problem its the samething just a little more expensive and it will deff work.

My 3" stainless ZZP downpipe with high flow did not throw any codes. Disconnect the battery before you install it, and reconnect it after the install. Also, you should always replace gaskets when changing anything. Exhaust included.

Dont worry about the code I reused my 20,000 mile gasket and now have 45,000 with no problems. My cat blew out so I have the code but no problems with the light on for the last 10,000+ miles
