We've gotten a lot of inquiries on lowering springs for the new LNF Turbo Cobalt, so we decided to take some before and after photos to show you guys. We installed these springs onto our project Cobalt SS Turbo.
The Eibach sportline springs lower the 08+ Turbo Cobalt 1 inch in front, and 1.5 inches in the rear.

I kknow this has been reviewed before, but are there performance aspects of these springs or are they basically just an appearence mod? I've even heard that they can hurt your handling performance, can someone enlighten me? Bump for a great deal as well
Hows the ride compared to stock?...GM had a pretty good set up on that SS/TC.
Ive been running sportlines on my SS/SC for a few years now and I love em.

Thank you all for your interest in these!
As far as ride quality goes, Ive put on a few hundred miles on our Cobalt SS Turbo and it has never bottomed out, it has never scraped the underside of the car, and handling/cornering is still very good.
I used to have these same springs on our old 05 Cobalt Supercharged car and the car rode well, handled very well on the old Cobalt SS/SC as well.

I am considering getting the sportlines for my ss/tc but I am wondering how the stock ss/tc shocks will handle them? I ask this because after almost 2 years, my stock shocks were bleeding on my '06 2.4 Cobalt.
Any information about our stock shocks and what they can realistically handle would be appreciated

^i hear the TC shocks are some of the best out there. The front are gas shocks so they should be fine. The rears are normal but i assume most of the pounding would occur in the front of the car anyways so you should be fine.
Dont trust me though, wait for some1 to quote this and say either hes right or hes a retard
