Official SS/TC Muffler Delete Sound/Video clip thread

I'd like to compile every single exhaust clip anyone has taken of their ss/tc with muffler delete so we can prove to the naysayers that it doesn't sound ricey.........honestly, ffs, we didn't cut a hole in the muffler.......u must think this is a honduh site or something, did u get lost?

Sound clips-will update first post with new clips as others post them

reposted in here because the other thread was full of garbage, me and Erod decided this was a better idea than having him clean up the last one. I'm goin to take more clips right now, will have them posted within an hour or so.

warranty???

Hey, I know i have seen some talk on here (maybe it was the old thread) about warranty stuff, but I went back to check and it was gone so Im sorry for re asking this...but has anyone actually had their SS serviced after the muffler delete? if so, any problems from dealership regarding the warranty?

I just had mine chopped off today and will post some sound clips soon. I was very impressed....I used to have a saturn sky redline with a full magnaflow catback exhaust and this muffler delete sounds much better than my sky turbo with the magnaflow. Even the muffler guys were asking me over and over if i was sure if i wanted to do this cuz they had no idea how it would turn out....but they were all very impressed and even recommended cutting out the resonator as well if i want even more sound.

sound clips coming soon.......

lol yea the muffler shop guys asked me a few times if i was sure, i knew i wanted it and was so very happy i did. The only way they can void your warranty is if somehow it caused a problem, which it won't. I'm posting new clips in the OP now.

bump for new vids in the OP

When you say muffler delete, did you have piping replace where the muffler was? Or just cut the muffler off and let the piping end where the muffler began. Anyone have pics?

replaced with straight pipe and stock tip welded onto the new peice, otherwise it'd look like ****

Muffler Delete Vs. Hahn Racecraft Any Opinions? Im Getting Ready To Get 2 Things For My Car Exhaust And Intake, Or If Muffler Delete Is Good For The Car Or Doesnt Hurt It Will Be Getting Intake And Hp Tuners.

Bump

HP tuners FTMFW, i'd do the muffler delete/intake/HP tuners, more power to be gained. Later down the road if u upgrade the IC piping and grab a new FMIC then i'd think about throwin a new 3inch exhaust with downpipe to go with it. Honestly tho, IMO, get a new downpipe, muffler delete and HP tuners, it's a little more money but it's well worth it.

Hahn Downpipe? And Does The Muffler Delete Affect Performance Or The Car In Any Negative Way. And By Doing The Downpipe And The Muffler Delete Would My Car Be Tooo Loud And Be A Police Magnet?

the muffler delete itself is not that loud unless your flooring it, if you got a catless downpipe that would make it louder yes and possibly not pass exhaust inspections i hear places in the USA have. I would get a highflow cat with your hahn downpipe and then do a muffler delete after.
